Practice of Mindful Meditation
Mindfulness is the ability to bring our awareness to the present in the moment, simply being with whatever is here. Led by a Meditation Instructor, Patricia Howard, this class will engage in both formal and informal practices of mindfulness that will allow you to cultivate a "witness" aspect in your day-to-day life. The practice of Mindfulness allows us to experience a deeper state of embodiment and brings us in touch with the joy of being that is free from the cravings and aversions of the outside world. Practices include body scan, gentle yoga, sitting meditation, gratitude and forgiveness. A private Zoom link will be provided prior to the session.
