With Chef Jr, children will be introduced to math, science, language, culture and essential life skills through food. This culinary-led curriculum, taught by former Flour Bakery Pastry Chef Melissa Lee, explores cooking and baking techniques, culinary tools, and gets children involved in the cooking process by measuring, stirring and assembling kid-friendly foods.
Chef Melissa focuses on fun and safety while children explore their creative side through food. At the end of the class, the children will have delicious food to enjoy, and learn about Jewish culture through food.
Discovery Club workshops infuse Jewish values and culture into the rich curriculum of the class. Open to all.
