Tennis Lessons (Red Ball)

Learn, laugh, run and play tennis with Coach Haim. Spend time on the fundamentals, and experience a variety of drills and teaching games that make lessons fun and challenging. This class is for beginning students who are still learning and perfecting their hand-eye coordination. Students will work on getting a feel for the racket, recognizing when to hit the ball and awareness of where the ball and racket are in relation to their body. No equipment required, but bring your racket if you have one!

Haim Zion recently moved to the US from Israel where he served as the head coach and national head coach at multiple clubs including the Israel Tennis Center. Haim competed at the highest levels in his sport and brings to the JCC over 20 years of tennis experience teaching and coaching all ages and abilities.

The ball type and instruction will be modified based on the level of the children in the class. We can help find the class that's right for your child.

This class will be held outdoors on the JCC's Tennis Courts. We will contact families should we need to cancel class in cases of inclement weather. If your child needs specific accommodations or if there is information you would like to share, please let us know so that we can support your family. Contact us at
